Introduction
Our Centre provides ocular disease diagnosis and treatment by ophthalmologists, aiming to offer comprehensive eye examinations for the general public and visually impaired individuals. We provide tailored treatment plans for various eye conditions (including medication, laser and surgical treatments), to prevent eye diseases or provide timely and appropriate care.

4.     Medical subsidy for eye operations to patients with financial difficulties (subject to funding availability)

Day Procedure Centre
The licensed Day Procedure Centre under the Hong Kong Society for the Blind locates on the 3rd floor of the East Wing of the Headquarter, providing daytime ophthalmic surgical services for needy patients. The medical team at our Centre consists of experienced ophthalmologists and professional healthcare staff, offering patients not only the most appropriate treatment plans to overcome ophthalmic diseases but also personalized medical services. Furthermore, the Centre is equipped with advanced 
ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment, with the medical team strictly adhering to hygiene standards to ensure that ophthalmic surgeries are conducted with precision, sterility and safety.

One of our objectives is to provide affordable ophthalmic health care services to the general public. Therefore, the Centre provides subsidies for ophthalmic surgeries to financially challenged patients after evaluation, depending on funding availability. By providing surgical fee assistance through funds, we aim to meet the growing medical needs of society and prevent treatment delays due to financial constraints.
